PICTURES! 3 weeks posted at 9:11 PM

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. It's gross! haha.
I just want my bangs to be past my chin, and for the sick, short layers on top to grow to the same length as my bottom layers. And ignore my chipped nails. I hate painting my nails.  Those roots you see pokin out of my scalp are 3 weeks worth!! That seems like more than usual for 3 weeks...  I can't say that for sure because I have never tracked my hair before.  I do know that I usually only fix my roots every couple of months...and since I'm coming up on a hair appointment ALREADY...WOOOHOO!!! Biotin is working. My skin is still angel soft:)... My nails are growing so fast.  BUT OH MY GOSH. Guys, the hair on my eyebrows grew so fast and long, like above my eyebrows I looked like Chewbacca.  I am going to start having to wax them puppies!

Otherwise, I just finished my 30 minute run and reps on my arms and tummy. I must say... doing the but bible and squats is the HARDEST thing for me to WANT to do.   I mean, who doesn't want amazing thighs, I sure do, there's just no desire to work for them...sigh...

I have made Cody start working out with me, not that he needs it or anything.  Having a workout buddy is great motivation.  Also, my work has discounted, month to month Gold's Gym deals.  If you know me, you know I loathe Gold's Gym.  If they can't have me in a contract though, I'm down. A girl on my facebook is teaching Zumba there right after I get off of work and I'm going to start taking cycling classes.  (Cody and I carpool to work so I need something to do while he's in classes every other day haha [I can't take school till we're married so I get the perks of free tuition from being married to a custodian. Heck yes.])

Anyways.... I am going to take a before pictures of Cody and I tomorrow, we're going to work out everyday, and in a month, I'll post the before and after picture and see how much progress you we get.

NEWS!! My hair grew! posted at 1:14 PM

Guys. Something of epic proportions has come to my attention. My hair has grown almost an inch in 3 weeks. 3 WEEKS! I owe this to Biotin, typically, it would take probably 2 months for me to notice that much growth.

That is all I have to update on:)

I'm obsessed...with that man! haha posted at 7:41 PM

CLEAR SKIN! posted at 7:05 PM

No, it's not week 4 yet, I am just so excited to tell you all that the rash on my face was a blessing!  Disturbing and gross, yet after all of the skin from the rash came off, (my skin was flaking for a few days) the most soft and clear skin revealed itself and OH MAN! I have never had softer, baby bottom skin on my face.

If not for hair or nails, definitely try Biotin for your skin.  I feel phenomenal!

Like I said before, my body hair is growing rapidly.  The hair on my head feels amazing too.  Not quite yet from the biotin, just from all of the oils and deep conditioners.

Supposedly, Mane & Tail (horse shampoo) is supposed to be AMAZING to help your hair stay healthy.  I'm not inclined to try that... kinda gives me the willies ha ha. I am looking into Biotin Shampoo and Coconut Oil though.

A new thing I am hoping to try is some sort of concoction related to evening the skin tone on my face.  I said earlier that I have Reynaud's Disease, therefore my blood flow is much slower than the average person's.   A lot of the time, especially during cold seasons, my face is red and purple, and since my face doesn't tan in the tanning beds, I'm looking for some type of remedy besides applying base.  (one of my goals is to never have to wear foundation again)

Although, I don't mind wearing Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals Foundation.  It looks and feels like you're wearing nothing.  If nothing else works, I will most certainly be wearing Jane Iredale makeup on my wedding day.  http://shop.janeiredale.com/products/11500/liquid-minerals.htm <- Liquid Minerals Foundation.

I am also struggling with the circulation in my legs and arms.  Being a CNA, elderly residents/patients with circulation problems wore some type of Anti Embolism Stockings.  Probably gonna need to snag me a pair of those...

Update on Cody. He's getting a red Wii plus the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Christmas.  PLUS! A nice Nixon watch, since his is destroyed and covered in muck.  This is why you don't get a fabric watch.  (He'll never read this. I love him, but he's computer illiterate)

Week 3 posted at 2:56 PM

Oops. I forgot week 2!

An update on Biotin.  I have noticed my body hair growing at incredible rates.  I have plucked my eyebrows daily for a week, when typically I only pluck them ONCE a week. Also, my arm hairs are getting kind of long.  My highest hopes are for me to see a significant difference in my eyelash thickness and of course my hair.  The trim I got this week, as well as daily deep conditioners and application of Aragon Oil has done WONDERS for my hair.  Although my hair is still in an awkward phase... when it grows out 3 inches so I can trim it to all the same length, it will be so beautiful ...ah...so excited!

My face DID break out in some crazy feeling rash. I could BARELY see the rash.  It was skin colored and it felt like my face was moving when I touched it.  If you looked really closely, you could see that it looked like every pore was enflamed on my face. Sick, right?  I read online that only 5% of women see that side effect and were all between the ages of 50 and 55.  Well add a 21 year old to that statistic because I experienced the beard shaped rash.

Besides my rash and body hair, I have noticed a rapid growth in my nails.  Only 4 days ago did I trim my nails, and today I had to trim them again.  This is something that never happens.

As far as nail strength and hair strength, which is something Biotin is supposed to help with, I don't think I'll be able to notice a difference until all of my brittle nail parts have been grown off and until my hair grows a few inches.

Now, my least favorite thing...working out.  I admit that this Thanksgiving week I have royaly SUCKED at eating healthy and working out.  My daily Slimquick dosage has upped though and I am pretty sure I have lost 3 lbs in the last 2 weeks.  Who knows if Slimquick is helping, I think that anyone on a rigorous diet and exercise routine will lose that amount in 2 weeks as well.  I just couldn't tell you.

Week 1 posted at 5:51 PM

Yes. My hair is fake. Anyone who knows me knows..my hair is fake. I have worn extensions for THREE YEARS!! And the WHOLE time..I'm sitting here waiting for my hair to get longer. Now, based on the estimate that your hair grows 1/2 an inch every month.. shouldn't my hair have grown a foot and a half by now instead of progressively getting shorter? You'd think, huh!  This is my top priority in fixing myself up.  I have sworn off my extensions (except for the occasional wrapping them into my pony tail), flat and curling irons, and blow dryers.  This last week, I have left Aragan oil in my hair at all times, leave in conditioners, and soaked my hair in Garnier Fructis while on my two mile run (35 min a day).  PLUS!  For those of you who are curious about Biotin pills and it's benefits on hair, nails, and skin... I have started 10,000 mcg doses daily.  Therefore, if what everyone says is true about my hair growing an inch a month while taking it...I should have half a foot more of hair by my wedding. Especially since it won't be frying off now that I'm keeping it healthy.  I'm going to take a picture of my hair once a month and post it here, to show comparisons of the progress.
(I am getting all of my dead ends trimmed off this week)

Secondly, I have started a diet and exercise routine for myself daily.  An apple and peanut butter for breakfast, a salad for lunch and a salad for dinner. Now...we all know I love cheeseburgers. This is not easy!! But I am sticking to it.
I run two miles a day and do reps on my arms and abs...sometimes I even do the Butt Bible workout. Which, might I add, made my legs so sore I could barely climb the stairs. If that's not working, I don't know what is!
If you haven't heard of Slimquick, it's a weight loss pill that targets 7 weight loss problems for women.  I started taking that last week, so we will also see if that helps.  Since gaining some extra weight with my night shift as a CNA last winter, and not being able to get it off (having hypothyroidism didn't help with that either) I have decided to try anything.

Lastly, I have the most ridiculous skin.  No, I don't suffer from acne or dark spots, but I do have Reynaud's Disease.  Which isn't serious, but I do look like Barney sometimes. Reynauds is a disease where basically my blood doesn't circulate very well, so my whole body turns purple unless I have a nice tan..which I never do because I was also blessed without the ability to tan! haha My whole family walks outside and turns black..and here I am, white...AND purple.  My goal here is to not be as white as my wedding dress, which is my dream dress by the way, and to go tanning everyday until I have a nice, even tan.. including on my face, hands, and feet...which I do not know how to get tan!

I'll post progress photos, and keep updates going on Biotin, Tanning Lotions, Teeth whiteners, hair products, and anything else I try for the wedding.

If you have any tips or anything to recommend, let me know! Thanks guys I love you:)
